GRAYLING - THE FISH
Grayling are a small cousin of the trout easily identified by their sail-like dorsal. They are generally dark on the back and have iridescent gray sides. The two most familiar species are the Arctic Grayling (Thymallus arcticus) and the European Grayling (Thymallus thymallus). Grayling live in cooler waters and live primarily on a diet of insects. They are highly sought after by anglers as they are a fiesty and beautiful little fish. The Grayling was chosen as our logo for its unique appearance. |
